One in three using homeless services are fleeing domestic violence, study reveals

A massive study out of Australia of those seeking homeless services turned up some interesting results related to domestic violence. One third of those seeking assistance report that they are fleeing domestic violence. Despite some measures allowing the victim to retain the family home in domestic violence cases, financial abuse can still leave victims of domestic violence homeless when they try to escape their abuser.
