If you experiened CDV, you may not even know it…because unlike most major Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) remains largely unknown. Even by those who experience it. There is less than <10% public awareness of it and very little focus, discussion, or programs to address it over the past 3 decades, making it even more obscure.

So even those impacted often don’t realize they experienced “something” in childhood or mistakenly believe since they only “witnessed” it, they are unaffected. In reality, CDV leaves an indelible mark on a life – a deep mental imprint that wreaking havoc on individual lives and society as a whole. Awareness is the first step towards overcoming the impact and reaching one’s innate potential.
