We designed the Childhood Domestic Violence toolkit in order to provide full access to our key tools, all in one place, for 12 months of the year whenever you need them.  Whether being used in an addiction facility, community center, domestic violence shelter…the most consistent feedback we receive is that, “these tools have changed the game.”

Whether you are an individual directly working with those who experienced childhood domestic violence or a leader of an organization whose mission it is to serve others in need who may have experienced childhood domestic violence, this toolkit was designed with you in mind.

The toolkit includes resources for those who those who experienced childhood domestic violence, whether the individual is a child, teenager or an adult.  Resources that, according to many, “have changed the game for those working to support those who experience childhood domestic violence”.

Here you can download the worksheets that are needed to take this journey.

Change A Life Program

This program was designed to teach adults how they can help those who experienced childhood domestic violence. Developed by the leading researcher in the field and endorsed by U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Children’s Mercy Hospitals, CHANGE A LIFE is the only evidence-based online program of its kind.  This simple, straightforward program is designed to teach a caring adult how to become The ONE for a child growing up in a home living with domestic violence.  The one to help a child feel understood and heard.  The one to help a child know that it isn’t their fault and that a child is never responsible for controlling the actions of an adult.
