ANGER is often a dominant emotion for adults who grew up experiencing adversity in their childhood home. Much of the work we’ve done has been to define that anger, understand its origins, and help people overcome it. Here, I aim to explore the underlying essence of anger, both physically and emotionally, in individuals who have experienced adversity in their home environment during childhood. Then we’ll address how to resolve it.
We Can Turn Anger into Compassion
The anger we learn from growing up with CDV follows us into adulthood. However, through time and effort, we can transform that anger into an advantage —a passion for change.
