The way we are going to truly break the cycle is by identifying the root cause.
– Dr. Linda Olson, Founder & Chairwoman, Georgia Chapter, Childhood Domestic Violence Association

Our Georgia Chapter Chairwoman Dr. Linda Olson has a unique understanding of CDV. Not only did she grow up with it, but she also treats it everyday as a clinician psychologist, psychotherapist and licensed social worker. In her work, she has affirmed time and time again what we know to be true: that CDV is the best predictor of being involved in Domestic Violence later in life.

This October, as we mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month, let us take a closer look at the root cause and hear what experts like Dr. Olson have to say about curbing it.
