Homelessness is a Real Possibility for Many Suffering from Domestic Violence

A massive study out of Australia of those seeking homeless services turned up some interesting results related to domestic violence. One-third of those seeking assistance report that they are fleeing domestic violence. Despite some measures allowing the victim to retain the family home in domestic violence cases, financial abuse can still leave victims of domestic violence homeless when they try to escape their abuser.
