You Care About Someone Impacted

Help a child…

  1. HELP THEM NAME IT: Use the term “Childhood Domestic Violence” – simply using the name can make a difference. Surprisingly, fewer than 15% are aware.
  2. TAKE THE PROGRAM: Our online training program CHANGE A LIFE can teach you how to become THE ONE for a child impacted by CDV. It will teach you how to step into the life of a child to help foster their resiliency.
  3. SCREEN OUR EMMY-NOMINATED FILM: You can share our Nick News special “Family Secrets: When Violence Hits Home.” This was the first ever televised program to focus on CDV, and is an age-appropriate way to start a conversation.
  4. USE THE NICK NEWS DISCUSSION GUIDE: The Nick News Discussion Guide leads you through the process of screening the program and talking to a young person/young people about CDV in a low-pressure, highly-effective way.
  5. SHARE OUR SITE: Direct them to CDV.org for information and resources that can help them take the first steps to overcoming the impact and changing their lives.

Help an adult…

  1. GIVE THEM COURAGE UNLEASHED: COURAGE UNLEASHED: 45 Days to Becoming Invincible is a 45-day, online self-empowerment program that was created to unlock your full potential.
  2. SHARE OUR SITE: Direct them to CDV.org for information and resources that can help them take the first steps to overcoming the impact and changing their lives.
